Career and Technical Education (CTE) program course sequences align with the Nevada Department of Education and were designed to prepare students for careers in high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand fields. CTE courses teach industry-specific knowledge and skills through applied learning methodology and, where appropriate, work-based learning experiences.
We offer nine program course sequences:

As required by the 1979 Guidelines for Eliminating Discrimination in Vocational Education Programs (34 CFR Part 100, App. B, IV-O), the District offers several Career and Technical Education Programs. Admission to these programs is open to all students enrolled in the Elko County School District.
