HOSA is excited to host Colors 4 Cancer this month! Each week, we will focus on a different type of cancer, providing educational information to raise awareness. Every Wednesday, we encourage everyone to wear the designated color that represents that week's featured cancer. In addition to raising awareness, we will also be organizing fundraisers to support those affected by various forms of cancer. We invite everyone to join us in this important initiative, promoting education and solidarity in our community. Together, we can make a meaningful impact!

If your student rides the Dragonfly bus to Adobe, please be aware that this route has the most notable changes. To view the updated schedules, please visit our transportation webpage https://www.ecsdnv.net/page/transportation-department. Thank you for your attention, and we appreciate your support in helping ensure smooth transportation for all students!
There will be Freshman Football Concessions today 09/12 at 5:00 PM. Proceeds will go to support Hope Squad. There will be Blind Onion Pizza, Candy, Water, and other goodies. Bring some money and support a great cause.
Hope Squad is an evidence-based, peer-to-peer suicide prevention program that is fairly new to EHS and ECSD! This year, EHS Hope Squad hopes to be more active and visible on campus with activities and events for students to participate in. Our goal is to bring positivity, support, and awareness to our campus.
We are asking for donations to help us host these events and find small ways to bring hope to our campus. If you are willing to donate, please use our successfund link. Any and all donations are appreciated and will go directly towards efforts at EHS.

Hey Elko!!! EHS Student Council Needs your help!!
Elko High School Student Council has been focusing on leadership in and out of high school! Last year, they started learning about what “leadership” looks like once you leave high school and start a career! They were lucky to have some awesome guest speakers and a field trip to our local Fire Department & TS Power Plant to get a closer look into how to be a leader in different careers.
This year they are looking for more guest speakers and possible field trip locations!
If you are interested in coming to talk to an amazing group of high schoolers about your career and leadership in your business we would love to have you!!
Field trips are limited but they are hoping to have at least 4 this year.
If you are interested please email the Student Council Advisor at jmontes@ecsdnv.net 🙂
Thank you!!!
The P.E. Department will be selling uniforms during the open house on Wednesday. Please make sure to stop by the gym to meet the P.E. teachers and get your uniform. Remember they are mandatory for P.E.

Good evening Elko High School parents. There will be a special education inclusion meeting on Thursday, August 15th at 5:30 pm in the Performing Arts Building. This meeting aims to inform parents and families about the transition of their middle school and high school students from a Special Education resource classroom setting into an inclusive General Education classroom setting and what that may look like.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to address concerns, clarify expectations, and foster collaboration between parents, educators, and students.
Additionally, students and families will be able to locate their classrooms as well as possibly meet their teachers during our open house on the 21st of August.
