We are excited for a week of wacky dress up days and our first ever Blacklight assembly to make finals week more fun and end the week with our Winter Formal Dance!
Winter Formal tickets will be on sale January 13 - 16 in Mrs Montes’ room and are $10 for a single or $15 for a couple.

The shelter-in-place at EHS has been lifted. Law enforcement has confirmed that the situation in the area is resolved, and regular campus activities have resumed.
EHS is currently in a shelter-in-place due to nearby police activity. Law enforcement has assured us there is no immediate danger to our campus. We will update you as soon as the shelter-in-place is lifted. Thank you for your understanding.

This afternoon, Elko High School was briefly placed on lockdown after the Centegix badge alarm system was accidentally activated. The situation was quickly investigated, and no threat was found.
Tonight’s the night for Hope Squad's FREE Movie Night, and you won’t want to miss it! We’re showing the Halloween classic *Hocus Pocus* at 7:00 PM in the old gym.
Bring your friends and blankets or anything to set up on the gym floor to watch comfortably. We’ll also be selling pizza, drinks, candy, and popcorn to keep you spellbound all night long!
It’s sure to be a wicked good time, so don’t miss out! We’ll see you tonight at 7:00 in the old gym for *Hocus Pocus!*
Tomorrow, Oct. 15th, there will be picture retakes during 1st and 2nd hour in the old gym.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THE HOMECOMING DANCE:
All students MUST have their student ID to get into the homecoming dance along with their dance ticket. If students do not have a student ID, they must go to the office and get an Infinite Campus Paper ID signed by an Administrator by Thursday.
Any guests who are not from EHS must bring a form of ID to the dance (school ID, drivers license, permit, etc.)
Students without ID will not be allowed into the dance.
The homecoming dance will be at the Elko Conference Center and doors will open at 8 PM.
