Plan Your Commute to School Accordingly
We want to inform you about upcoming changes at the new roundabout on Lamoille Highway and Boyd Kennedy Road in Spring Creek.
Starting tomorrow and ending on the 20th, the contractor will test traffic control by closing the outer lanes, leaving the inner two lanes and a center turn lane open. The speed limit will be reduced to 35 MPH.
Construction is set to begin on March 31st. Please plan your commute accordingly. We plan to monitor the situation and understand this could cause delays while everyone adjusts. Let's get to school safe and sound!
Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

📢 Attention Parents & Guardians! 📢
Check your email! ✉️ Elko County School District is rolling out a new annual student registration process for the 2025-2026 school year. This online registration is required for all students and helps us keep important records up to date.

Due to continued snowy conditions, ALL Elko, Carlin, Spring Creek and Wells schools will have a two-hour delayed start on Monday, March 3, 2025. School will begin exactly two hours later than usual, and bus pickups will also run two hours later. Please drive slowly and cautiously, watching for students who may be walking in roadways or along alternate paths to avoid snow and ice.
